Som Tum (Young Papaya Salad) Recipe

Som tum is a young papaya salad from Thailand. It tastes sour, sweet, savory, and spicy. The freshness of the spices with a sour taste, fish sauce, and peanuts makes the taste even more special.

Material:

  • 100 grams of raw papaya, thinly sliced
  • 50 grams of carrots, thinly sliced

  • 1 large ripe lime
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 long bean
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce

How to Make Som Tum:

  1. Prepare a pestle and all ingredients. Grind the cayenne pepper and garlic together. Add sugar, long beans, and tomatoes. Stir gently until smooth.
